School Absences for Dental Appointments - California Education Code specifically provides that absences for dental care shall be excused. CSPD and CDA have created a joint statement to address concerns of parents and/or school administrations regarding these professional visits. CSPD has developed a template for a School Attendance Release Form which may be downloaded and customized by members for individual office printing and distribution.
