Phyllis Kawada, DDS
Dr. Phyllis Kawada is a native Californian born in Whittier and reared in Hacienda Heights.  She attended the University of Southern California from 1993 to 2001 where she received a BS in Biological Sciences as well as her DDS.  Currently, Dr. Kawada is a third year resident and serves as Chief Resident in the Post-graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco.  Upon completion of the program, Dr. Kawada hopes to create and establish hospital-based clinics to provide care to the underserved pediatric population.

Tamaki Fujino, DDS
Dr. Fujino was raised in Japan and in Southern California.  She graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences.  She attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago where she received her D.D.S. in 1999.  After graduation she practiced in Chicago and Southern California.  She is currently a third-year resident in Pediatric Dentistry at UCSF.  Future plans include private practice and teaching in the Bay Area.

Marjorie A. Domingo, DDS
Dr Domingo brings with her a wealth of experience predominantly in community health, having a spent time as a general dentist in hospital dentistry, private practice, and then in community health centers as a staff dentist.  More recently, she has served as dental director in Southern Monterey County.  Dr. Domingo earned her DDS from USC in 1995.  Currently a third year resident, Dr. Domingo plans to return to sunny Southern California.

Yazdan Alami, DDS
Dr. Yazdan Alami is from Los Angeles.  He received his BS from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997 and DDS from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2001.  Dr. Alami is currently a third year resident and plans to return to Southern California to practice pediatric dentistry.

Ali Manouchehri, DDS
Dr. Ali Manouchehri was born in Iran, and grew up in Southern California.  He graduated from UC Irvine in 1998 with a B.S. in Biology.  Dr. Manouchehri attended the USC School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree in 2002.  Ali is currently a second year resident at UCSF Pediatric Dentistry / M.S. program.  Upon completion of his training, Dr. Manouchehri plans to practice and teach in Southern California.

Nancy Kwon Hsieh, DDS
Dr. Nancy Kwon was raised in Pacific Palisades, California. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in psychology. Nancy attended dental school at the University of the Pacific where she received her DDS in 2002. Currently, she is a second year resident in the pediatric dentistry program at UC San Francisco. Upon completion of her training, she plans on staying in the Bay Area close to her alma mater.

Richard B. Knight, DDS
Dr. Richard Knight was born and raised in Northern California in the town of Petaluma.  He graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1998 and continued on to dental school at the University of California, San Francisco.  After obtaining his DDS in 2002, he started the post-graduate program in pediatric dentistry at UCSF, where he is now a second year resident.  Once through with his residency, Dr. Knight and his family plan to return to Sonoma County to practice pediatric dentistry.

Rasika Naran, DDS
Dr. Rasika Naran grew up in Los Banos, California.  She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California with a double major in Biology and Biochemistry.  She then attended the University of Pacific School of Dentistry and graduated in 2001.  Dr. Naran is currently a first year resident at UCSF and plans to practice in California.

Megan Foster, DDS
Dr. Megan Foster was raised in Sacramento, California and graduated from University of Oregon in 1995.  She attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she received her DDS in 2000.  She is currently a first year pediatric dental resident at the UCSF.

Ann Tornabene, DDS
Dr. Ann Tornabene was raised in San Mateo, CA.  She graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Plant Biology and a minor in Spanish.  She then taught high school biology for 4 years prior to attending the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where she received a DDS in 2003.  Currently, Dr. Tornabene is a first year pediatric dental resident at UCSF.  Upon completion of her training, she plans to teach and practice in Northern California. 

Miguel Hipolito, DDS
Dr. Miguel Hipolito grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz before attending the University of California of San Francisco dental school, where he graduated in 1999.  He completed a fellowship at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco in the dental service.  He is a first year resident and plans to practice and teach somewhere in California.
