  Children's Jewelry Recalled
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall this week of nearly 70,000 charm bracelets and rings due to high levels of cadmium. The products—made by SmileMaker, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Staples, Inc.—are marketed to dental and medical offices and given away to patients. An ADA spokesperson was quoted in an Associated Press story about the recall that was published on June 30. CDA Update
