2018 Oral Research Presentations Application

Oral Research Presentations for the 2018 Annual Meeting will allow pediatric dentists and residents to present unique pediatric cases, as well as completed and ongoing research within pediatric dentistry. Both single presenters and groups may participate.

The Goal is to provide our members with insight into the current research projects, to educate on unique patients cases, as well as to share educational updates from our California residency programs. 

Submit your oral research presentation application and abstract below.
Your presentation application and abstract are due by September 15th.
Your slides or projection graphics should be emailed to 
Yelena Martynovskaya by October 1st.
Bring a thumb drive copy of presentation to the program.

Guidelines for creating presentation:

  • A brief abstract of no more than 200 words is required.
  • Content may be presented to our colleagues in any desired format that works. A computer will be available to project graphic content.
  • Limit projected word content. Stick to short, succinct phrases or bullet points that can be more easily read by audience. Utilize more photos/pictures/charts/etc.
  • Presentation length is limited to 10 minutes followed by up to 5 minutes of Q&A
  • Topics include but not limited to research studies (including any pre-doc research relevant to pediatric dentistry), case presentations, new materials or clinical techniques that your practice or program is using, new and exciting things that make your practice or program unique.
