Course Description: The young patient presents many diagnostic and treatment challenges when faced with endodontic needs in the immature permanent dentition. A patient’s behavior may require the pediatric dentist to be able to provide the necessary endodontic care which may include vital pulp therapy or full pulpal debridement. This presentation will review endodontic diagnosis for the young patient and evidenced based treatment strategies. This presentation will highlight the role the pediatric dentist may play in a
multi-disciplinary care team to maximize patient outcomes.
