Looking for a pediatric dentist - new grad or experienced - who loves minimally invasive, patient-centered care. Flexible start date, great opportunity to enjoy the CA coast while doing work you love.
- Flexible start date (Ideally any time in 2027), Part-time or full time available.
Practice
- Two locations: Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo: Medicaid/PPO mix, with the majority of patients being Denti-Cal beneficiaries
- Work alongside two board-certified pediatric dentists
- Strong focus on minimally invasive techniques
- GA cases performed in-office, at local surgery centers, and a local community hospital
- Spanish (or dental Spanish) helpful but not required
Location
- Central Coast of California (SLO and Santa Maria)
- Coastal community with easy access to hiking, cycling, surfing, wine country. Coastal living in CA without traffic!
Our established office in Santa Maria serves a high-caries-risk population, so our practice emphasizes prevention, arresting decay, and creative treatment planning to try to keep the toddlers out of the OR when feasible/desired by the family. We also do plenty of more traditional dentistry every day- we use nitrous in the office, and offer treatment under general anesthesia both in-office and in a local surgery center and hospital. The San Luis Obispo office opened this year, and while it’s still new, it’s grown enough that we need more help in order to open more days! We’d love to find someone who is passionate about caring for the dental needs under-resourced children. Pay is based on production, with a daily guarantee.
